Guide to Configuring Google Cloud Services:
Creating a New Project:
- Log in to the Google Cloud Console through this link.
- Create a new project.
Enabling the Admin SDK API:
- In your project console, enable the Admin SDK API.
Creating a Service Account:
- Create a new Service Account with Owner permissions (always functional) or Viewer permissions (better for security, but only functional under specific conditions). a) Assign an existing user (a domain user, of a Google account) to the Service Account and enter this user's email in TAC. b) Create a new JSON format key and prepare to upload it to TAC.
Registering the Client ID with Domain Delegation:
- Go to Google Workspace Admin > Security > API controls through this link.
- Register the client ID with domain delegation, adding the following scopes:
Configuration in TAC:
- Enter the user associated with the service account created in the previous step and upload the downloaded JSON file in the TAC 'Integrations > Google' section.
Importing Employees into TAC:
- In the 'Management' section of the TAC corporate portal, access the 'Employees' section. From there, select the 'Add' button and then click on 'Add Google' to choose the individuals you wish to import into TAC.
By following these steps, you can effectively configure Google Cloud services and integrate them with TAC for optimal management of human resources and information technologies.
